<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I had the utmost difficulty convincing them that it
was a fairy story but that lead to some wonderful discussion. All 20 of them
were interested (most said it was the best book they had ever read, giving it 5
out of 5 stars). We did Lotus diagrams prior to writing and all of them
wrote in excess of 600 words on it (A real achievement for this
group)</FONT></DIV>

worth your while to Google it. They are an excellent tool for those who
need structure and organisation! They are also great for shaping
research.)</FONT></DIV>

Literacy Work Book</EM> for some of the reading and writing outcomes.
"Whale Rider", the film, for a writing outcome. Students are sourcing
some of their own reasearch material and we may do another film later in the
