We are teaching 'Interpreter' to mainstream group but it fits well into either. I've just been rereading stories yet again. Just love them. Short stories are excellent to teach.
If you send me your details off-list, we can keep in touch. I'd been struggling to find other schools teaching the text.
cheers
Jan

Hi,
We are going to do 'Interpreter of Maladies' in Year 12 ESL. This is an excellent collection of stories for ESL students. There is a VATE guide.

I haven't taught short stories as a text before.
