At South Oakleigh College we have done changing the  p-plate rules. It was simple and the students enjoyed it because it related directly to them.

Legal drinking age?
I'm in a regional school also, so Bay Dredging, while a hot topic, is a 
little remote.
The Apology is worth considering.
