I am interested in what teaching are using at Years 7 and 8. Any new
books on the horizon?

Hi Sally,

Our Yr 11s study Of Mice & Men (Steinbeck), which the teachers like but
which draws mixed reactions from the kids, The Running Man (Bauer)-a new
text but quite popular with the kids, Stolen (Harrison) and Shakespeare
in Love (film text).
Ours are mixed ability, co-ed classes. We are a government school in a
rural area, if any of that is of any use.
