<font face="Calibri">Hi all... not sure if it has already been
mentioned in this thread or not, but Monash is also moving to moodle
(and leaving BlackBoard behind). At the moment they have both moodle
and Blackboard operating but lecturers are being encouraged to move
their courses to moodle, and eventualy BlackBoard will be removed. My
son is just finishing his BBIS degree at Clayton and all but one of his
lecturers this semester has used moodle rather than BB. His comment?
moodle is "pretty cool" and beats BB in every respect! "Especially cos
it is free too" He also said the old email they had was very basic and
pretty useless and as he is already a gmail user for his personal email
he said the move to google mail will be great for students. Strange
that we had this conversation last week and then this thread came
along...<br>
