You can only natively program in Objective C on a Mac, however you can use a number of cloud based development tools which will work perfectly with your students. We have used the following with students and I have also used these extensively within my own apps that are now on the store

www.buzztouch.com – A CMS platform, built entirely in the cloud. Extremely powerful and you own the source code when its packaged and downloaded.

Www.apparchitect.com – A great tool for piecing together apps in the cloud. We had students here in Boort develop apps for local businesses using this tool. They can preview live as its being built by using the App Architect aPP

www.redfoundry.com – I use this extensively in my own app development company. Build and compile native iPhone/Android apps programmed in RML. A variant of HTML

http://phonegap.com/ - Build cross platform apps with HTML/CSS

Subject: [elearning] Iphone Apps

Hi all.

I was wondering if there is anyone creating iPhone apps using PC. I'm a Mac user, but my students have PC's, so I am looking to find out what the best option is for students.

Thank-you

Gavin Ferrier
