<div>Are both switches enhanced image. I remember there being a problem with one or two of the labs if you had a switch that didn't have the enhanced image, but it's been a while since I've taught unit 3 at Kurunjang so I'm not sure if it is that lab or not.

So it seemed what appeared a newer version was not working. Not deterred, I got the students to save the non-working switch's IOS to a tftp server and copied in the working version onto the switch. After reloading , it still did not work after confirming the updated IOS was in fact running on the switch.
