Balance Sheet and the Operating Statement (both to be signed by School Counc=

President) are now required to be presented to school council. All oth=

reports we present at our Finance sub-committee meetings and cheque payments
are approved there. I have frequently had arguments with auditors over
the cash receipts report because my argument is that privacy constraints wou=
ld
dictate that details of individual family payments to the school are private
and should not be made available to school councillors, only aggregated
receipts figures are appropriate – and on each occasion they’ve
agreed and it hasn’t been recorded on the audit report.<o:p></o:p></sp=
an></font></p>
