that now only the Balance Sheet and the Operating Statement (both to be sign=

by School Council President) are now required to be presented to school
council. All other reports we present at our Finance sub-committee
meetings and cheque payments are approved there. I have frequently had=
arguments with auditors over the cash receipts report because my argument is=
that privacy constraints would dictate that details of individual family
payments to the school are private and should not be made available to schoo=
l
councillors, only aggregated receipts figures are appropriate – and on=
each
occasion they’ve agreed and it hasn’t been recorded on the audit=
report.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
