Dear Ag/Hort teachers

I read on page 2 of the Education Times (30 March edition) that an
exhibition that features the state's scientific and technological
innovations (Science for the Future: Victorian Innovations: making the
world of difference) is touring regional centres including Shepparton
Science and Technology Centre (until 31 March), Bendigo Discovery Centre
(April 1 - June 12) and Mildura Visitor and Information Centre (June 7 -
July 17). Specific mention in the article is made of seminars relevant
to VCE studies, including Ag and Hort and the work of scientists at the
DPI who have identified eight ozone-friendly alternative sprays for
horticulturalists to continue growing bumper crops without harming the
environment.

Perhaps it is worth checking out?

Regards,

Lorraine Tran
