In following up I visited:

http://www.vff.org.au/index.php?id=70256

I also met with Paul Weller the VFF President and Asher Judah (Policy
Adviser) today.

Aparently the roundtable is by invitation only. Some teachers from the
Ag and Hort area have been invited.

I gave them a copy of the new Agricultural and Horticultural Study
Design. I also discussed some of the issues - falling student cohort,
teacher training, school facilities and cost of running Ag/Hort etc.

They seemed to be quite focused on VET Ag and Hort programs and wondered
whether there has been a greater take-up of VET in lieu of falling
numbers of students doing VCE Ag and Hort. I explained the complimentary
nature of the VCE study and related VET programs.

Regards,

Lorraine Tran
