I know nothing about this however I have been speaking to the President
of the UDV ( a local Colac man) who has indicated he would like to get
together with the VFF to have a good look at the situation and see what
we can do to improve things.

All the best

Bill

Subject: [Agriculture and Horticulture ] Education roundtable on
ruraleducation issues

Hello members of the list

I have just been handed an article from the Ballarat Courier headed
'Workshop on rural education issues'.

Northern Metropolitan Institute of TAFE Epping is conducting a workshop
on Wednesday June 8 to discuss the challenges facing agricultural and
horticultural education in Victoria.

This is a Victorian Farmers Federation initiative to focus on developing
industry wide policies addressing the sustainability of Melbourne
University's Institute of Land and Food Resources campuses and the
broader rural education sector.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Regards,

Lorraine Tran

The VCAA provides curriculum and assessment for prep to Year 12. The
VCAA is a statutory body directly responsible to the Minister for
Education and Training and serves government and non-government schools.
